You have died (print: $deathCount) times.
You are in a dark hallway, doors are lined up on each side for as far as you can see, light shing out from the little window on each door.
You are unsure how you got here, to say you awoke would be a lie because you have no memory of waking, you were just... here. You remember nothing and yet, you remember many things. It is as though your memories are there, but hidden behind a door.
Looking around you find that you are at the end the hallway of doors, so there's only one way to go.
[[Proceed down the Hallway of Doors. -> theHallwayOfDoors]](set: $decisionCount += 1)
You have died (print: $deathCount) times.
Before you begin, you realize you were in a slightly set of enclosure, sort of like a room with a wide hole in the wall where a double door would normally be. Above where the door would be is a little lip protruding from the ceiling. Upon that section of wall is a plaque that says "remember you will die". Wondering what that means, you begin to walk down the hallway.
As you walk down the hallway you glance at the doors on either side of you, their lights shine out, occasionally flashing, but their light seems sinister and dark. Nonetheless you feel drawn to the doors, you currently see four doors in you immediate vicinity. Over the doors there are inscribed the words '[[CAR -> carDeath]]', '[[HOSPITAL -> hospitalDeath]], '[[FIRE -> fireDeath]]', '[[VIOLENCE -> violenceDeath]]'.You have died (print: $deathCount) times.

As you get into your car you think about how tired you are. It's such a chore to have to go out so late at night, but your boss called and said there was an emergency at work. So you start the car and start driving into the city.
It's a rather dull drive, only a few other cars passing by, you're so tired. You're about halfway there now not long to go, but your so tired.

You awake again and yet... you're not awake. You're looking down on yourself on the operating table. The doctors are trying to get the bullet out of your chest.
You feel a sharp pain where the bullet must be and your body jerks. The bullet was near to the heart and the doctors weren't expecting you to jerk. The instrument they're trying to us to help you instead pierce your heart.

*Everything seems foggy? No! Smoke!*
It took you a moment to realize what is going on in your tired state, but once you do your adrenaline wakes you up immediately. You run out of the room to go down the stair, but they're already engulfed.
You wonder why the fire alarm didn't go off, but then you remember that they're out of batteries, you were planning to pick more up in a few days.
The only way out is the window. It's a two story drop to the ground, but it's your only way out. You run back into your room, but before you can reach the window the weakened floor breaks beneath you and fall to your death into the inferno.

You slowly climb back up the stairs to try to get to room and grab the gun, but about halfway up the stairs creek. You stop moving and hear nothing from below you either. You stand there, waiting for some sign that they didn't hear you, but as you wait one of the people sneaks to the bottom of stairs.
